A tech-savvy virtual assistant and founder of Nerdy Office. 🧡 I’ve been working with small business clients since 2017. Drawing on my skills and background in education, I navigated a fresh career path through business ownership. Nerdy Office represents my solution to the challenges often encountered by educators.
Beyond just offering virtual assistance, Nerdy Office provides solutions grounded in firsthand experience and a genuine passion for discovering learning opportunities through day-to-day client work.
On a personal note, I’m a wife to Stefan and cat mama to Ronja and Hermione 😻😻. I started my career as an elementary school teacher. I taught 3rd and 4th-grade students and learned a lot from that experience. Teaching taught me to respect other ways of thinking and to be resilient when it wasn’t easy to get where I wanted to be.

I’m an immigrant to the United States, moving here to pursue the American dream. In 2013, I became a citizen of the U.S.A. while keeping citizenship in my home country of Sweden. I received my degree in History with a minor in African American & Asian Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
I started my career as an educator through my work with Teach for America. As an elementary school teacher, I learned much about collaborating with a team and finding new ways to connect with people daily.
I truly enjoy hearing other people’s stories and discovering all the ways we are more similar than we are different. Nerdy Office is the next step in my journey, and I can’t wait to support business owners who are women in reaching their goals of independence and success.
